Job description
We seeking a talented and experienced Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) Developer to join our team of passionate game developers. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement engaging game mechanics and features using Unreal Engine 4 and Blueprints.
- Program and optimize gameplay systems, ensuring smooth performance and an enjoyable player experience.
- Work closely with artists and designers to integrate assets and create visually stunning environments and characters.
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues, providing innovative solutions to improve game performance and stability.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Unreal Engine 4, incorporating them into the development process when applicable.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall quality of the game.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, designers, and producers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of code, workflows, and project progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience in game development using Unreal Engine 4.
- Proficiency in C++ programming language.
- Solid understanding of game development principles, including gameplay mechanics, AI, physics, and optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members from different disciplines.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality, visually appealing games.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, for source code management.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous Unreal Engine 4 projects and demonstrating your technical skills and creativity.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine 4.
- Knowledge of other game engines and development tools.
- Familiarity with shader programming and visual effects.
- Experience in multiplayer game development.
- Understanding of VR/AR technologies and their implementation in games.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software development practices and methodologies.
