Job Description  

CSCI Consulting is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency Information (DLA) Operations Enterprise Enclave (IOEE) and Information Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOSEE) Engineering Support Services program in Springfield, VA. This is a HYBRID position, reporting into the office 1x a week. Travel is also required for this role (CONUS & OCONUS).    

 

Responsibilities  

• Provides support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the network engineering and cloud implementations.
• Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
• Applies extensive networking and cloud technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. 
• Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
• Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
• Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.

Minimum Requirements  

• Valid US Passport.
• This position requires a SECRET security clearance, is an IT-I designated position, and requires that personnel assigned to this position have attained a favorable outcome of a Tier 5 investigation  
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III
• Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert -Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE-EI) 
• Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) 
• Cloud Certification from AWS, Microsoft Azure, or CompTIA
• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of work experience in lieu of degree.
• Year's Experience: 10 years of progressive technology and network engineering experience.
• Ability to work and think independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills. 

Preferred Skills 

• Ability to travel 10-25% 
• Past DoD experience.
• Ability to be client facing.
