Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers, assess their service needs, and provide information on available services.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and inquiries, offering clear and detailed explanations regarding repair options, cost estimates, and service timelines.
* Service Scheduling:
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, taking into account customer preferences and vehicle availability.
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely completion of customer requests.
* Vehicle Inspection and Recommendations:
- Perform initial vehicle inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Discuss findings with customers, providing recommendations and cost estimates for necessary repairs or maintenance.
* Service Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles and any additional service recommendations.
- Address customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
* Service Documentation:
- Accurately record customer information, service requests, and vehicle details in the system.
- Create detailed work orders for the service department, ensuring all necessary information is available for technicians.
* Sales and Upselling:
- Promote additional services, maintenance packages, and accessories, while ensuring customer needs are met and value is communicated.
- Work to meet or exceed sales and customer satisfaction targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership is preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance services.
- Proficiency in using service management software is a plus.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
