COMMUNITY LIVING DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a community living setting.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility support.
- Support skill-building activities to foster independence and personal development.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of daily activities, care provided, and any incidents or observations.
- Plan and organize community outings, events, and social activities to foster inclusion and community integration.
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the individuals you work with.
COMMUNITY LIVING DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to perform physical requirements, including lifting approx. 50 lbs.
- Basic reading, writing, mathematical, and computer skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and respond effectively to challenges.
- Successful completion of a level II background check
