Job description
GovFirst is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Evergreen, Colorado . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Microsoft Windows servers, administering Microsoft SQL databases, troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining hardware from HP and Dell. Additionally, expertise in Fortinet firewalls, VMware, Zoom VOIP, and application API integration is required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Perform all services described in the professional services agreement (Attachment A).
- Manage Microsoft Windows servers and SQL databases.
- Setup and troubleshoot network configurations.
- Administer HP and Dell server and workstation hardware.
- Configure and maintain Fortinet firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Support Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.
- Oversee VMware and VSphere 6.7/V7 environments.
- Manage Zoom VOIP systems.
- Facilitate application API integrations.
- Conduct server, workstation, and security assessments.
- Perform server and workstation upgrades as needed.
- Administer antivirus software.
- Manage firewall configurations.
- Integrate applications and platforms as required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows server management.
- Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL administration.
- Strong SQL development skills.
- Knowledge of network setup and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Sophos antivirus software.
- Expertise in HP and Dell server and workstation hardware.
- Experience with Fortinet firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.
- Knowledge of VMware and VSphere 6.7/V7.
- Familiarity with Zoom VOIP systems.
- Experience with application API integration.
All contractor staff working will be required to undergo and pass a Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) background check.
