OPEN TO ALL APPLICANTS SALARY: $16.39/Hr (NEGOTIABLE; PLUS COMMISSION BASED ON PREFORMANCE) Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status. Shift Differential: Monday-Thursday (6pm to 6am) - $1.00 per hour worked
Friday 4pm to Saturday 4am - $3.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4am to 4pm) - $2.00 per hour worked
Saturday (4pm to 4am) - $3.00 per hour worked
Sunday 4am to Monday 6am - $2.00 per hour worked
POSITION SUMMARY: Greet guests in a friendly, professional and courteous manner. Answer and respond to questions and needs of casino patrons; provide directions as requested. Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide friendly, fast and helpful customer service to all guests and team members and has the resiliency to deal with challenging situations.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of Oneida Casino.
- Resolve guest concerns in a timely manner and when necessary, referring to appropriate department supervisor.
- Ensure established procedures, and processes are utilized at all times, to ensure maximum understanding and coordination are in place.
- Track and monitor guest feedback and participation on an on-going basis to determine and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements at all times.
- Adhere to established quality, service delivery, customer service, and customer demand expectations. Adhere to all audit, and legal regulations/laws and practices.
- Build guest loyalty using sales and marketing techniques that foster an exclusive guest relationship and generate gaming revenue as determined by management.
- Greets guests on casino floor, establish rapport, and provides complimentary amenities, based upon specific casino guidelines.
- Assists guests with questions as they relate to the property, loyalty programs, and current promotions.
- Receive and forward accurate messages from guests as requested.
- Attend and host guests onsite/offsite events in various areas as assigned.
- Maintain a high level of guest service, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all communication.
- Seek new and targeted players and to inform them of the benefits of all player development programs.
- Assist Executive Host with comping and distributing compensation or promotional items to eligible patrons as necessary.
- Adhere to all Tribal Personnel Policies and Procedures, Tribal Standard Operating Procedures, and Area and Program Strategic Plans and Policies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - One (1) year of CMP database experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- High School Diploma, HSED Diploma or GED Certification. Applicants age (fifty (50) and older are exempt from this requirement.
- Three (3) years of customer service experience; An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Six (6) months of Casino work experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently walk, use hands, handle, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Work is generally performed in a casino setting with a higher noise level. Evening, and/or weekend work is frequently required. There is frequent interaction with the employees and patrons. Travel may be required for training, meetings, conferences, presentations, and other events.
- Work environment may NOT be smoke or dust free.
- A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
