Pay : $30.00-$35.00 per hour.

• Valid Security License State of Texas
• No PPE

Responsibilities: 

• programming of access control systems.
• performing skilled technical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, modification, and testing of access control, closed circuit television (CCTV) and security systems hardware and software. 

Additional duties include: installing, maintaining, repairing and testing data cable and wiring, electronic door locks, access card readers, door position switches, request to exit detectors, CCTV cameras, and other security systems related hardware; testing security systems hardware and correcting malfunctions to restore the conformance of the equipment to established standards; working with data, alarm and monitoring circuits; installing and relocating security systems equipment; conducting research and analyzing test measurements; and assisting in designing security systems within City facilities. Work involves evaluating present systems and recommending system expansion, modification, and replacement.

• Cabling
• Identify and Run cable pathways.
• Use a Hilti shotgun.
• Cut in the wall, pass through with pipe & with Fire Caulk as needed.
• Mount /hang j-hooks, as well as at proper distances.
• Properly and accurately label cables.
• Practices cable management.
• Ability to rough in all cables for both a camera and security job.
• Install conduit straight with proper anchorage.
• Ability to constantly bend 90 degrees.
• Ability to do off-set.
• Lifts Experience needed.
• Scissor lift
• Straight boom
• 45° knuckle booms
