Position Information:
The Primary purpose of this position is to establish a state of the art online educational program in the field of sports chiropractic. This position will be closely supervised by the Department Director. Additionally, this position is to develop an expert in the field of Human Performance, specifically Sports Chiropractic, through the means of instruction and intern supervision while in the field, being an expert on the topic of sports care and providing lectures on such topics, supervising student research projects in the field of Human Performance and self-development.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Collaboration to develop a contemporary curriculum in the field of sports chiropractic - research, question development, curriculum writing
- Supervision and academic guidance of clinical interns while providing clinical services to the department of Human Performance Institute's constituents.
- Design and delivery of lectures in the field of sports chiropractic
- Administration of work - e-mails and planning field work, etc.
Position Qualifications:
- Doctor of Chiropractic required - preferably an advanced degree in a sports and performance related field, preferred credential or degree in education (especially adult education and online education). A Masters in addition to the Doctorate is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience utilizing clinical skills with emphasis in sports care and performance as demonstrated by earned certifications and/or 1-3 years of practical experience.
- Adult online education development experience is preferred
