Job description
Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Physical Therapy Practice Coordinator, and Physical Therapist, this individual performs specific components of physical therapy interventions including evaluation, assessment, treatment-planning based on patient's functional needs, program development, evaluation of response to treatment, and readjustment of the treatment plan as needed. The Physical Therapist Assistant may modify an intervention only in accordance with the changes in patient/client status and within the scope of the plan of care that has been established by the Physical Therapist. This position follows an individualized performance development plan to maintain current knowledge and remain competent in critical areas, support program goals, Medical Group goals/objectives, functions and philosophy.

Required qualifications:
Associate's degree in CA PTA-approved program.
California Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
4 months of experience providing direct patient care, OR Internship.

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
