Bill Rate to CBRE: XX40.60
Duration: 13 weeks with high possibility of extension and/or conversion
Location: 100% On-site 1300 Enterprise Drive, Geneva, AL 36340
o Travel Requirements: N/A
Hours: Standard
Role Overview: The Building Engineer will oversee preventative and emergency maintenance orders to include inspections and repair activities for a 350,000 square foot facility with approximately 500 employees (this is a self-managed site so the tech will be on their own).
o Average Maintenance Orders
Preventative Maintenance 120 per month
Emergency/Client Requests 1 2 daily
Day to Day Responsibilities:
o Utilizes advanced skills to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial
o systems, vehicles, equipment (forklifts, boom lifts, lock out tag out), and grounds.
o As sole party responsible for facility, monitors building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, etc.
o Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
o Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
o Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors to include janitorial staff.
o Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
o Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.
o Maintains the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
o Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
