Job Overview
Reporting to the VP, Commercial Product, the Director of Employer Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, focusing on Fortune 500 companies and benefit providers. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience in employer-focused sales, particularly in healthcare, to drive product adoption and meet sales targets.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Sales Strategy : Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for employer-focused product offerings.
- Target Client List : Develop and prioritize a target client list, leveraging existing relationships with Benefit Leaders to drive sales opportunities.
- Prospect Outreach : Conduct outreach to prospects through a combination of existing relationships and cold calls to generate interest and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Sales Content and Tools : Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to define and develop sales content and tools required for successful client engagement.
- Customer Meetings : Lead customer meetings to understand client needs, present product offerings, and drive successful partnerships.
- Brand Awareness : Build brand awareness by actively participating in industry conferences, forums, and relevant networking events.
- Sales Targets : Set sales targets and effectively manage progress toward achieving and exceeding targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in employer-focused sales, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets,
- Familiarity with diabetes products and solutions is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel nationwide as required, up to 75%
