Job description
Job Purpose:
Our Senior S&OP Planner will be responsible for managing the sales forecast for complex, multi-location, and/or national key accounts to support the overall S&OP process. This position will work with the Commercial and Sales teams to implement forecasting methodologies, understand market and seasonal trends, plan for new product introductions and determine anticipated demand across product lines. They will also collaborate with Supply Planning to manage the implementation of new strategic programs, inventory requirements and will facilitate proactive resolution and communication of supply and demand gaps to key stakeholders through a repeatable S&OP process.Job Responsibilities:
● Generate weekly demand forecast, analyze forecast accuracy, recommend adjustments within Oracle System (EVO) Demand Plan.Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
This position will support the Corporate Accounts Sales division.
● Demonstrated understanding of Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning and S&OP Processes.
● Very strong statistical and analytical skills, able to manage complex data sets.
● Self-starter and collaborates across cross functional teams.
Work Experience:
● 10-15 years of related job experience. ● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment. ● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required. ● Experienced in providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges. ● Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives. ● Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Replenishment Planning preferred. ● Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems. ● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. ● Strong planning and organization skills are required.Education:
