IDEA Auto Group is looking for an Experienced Title Clerk.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reconcile and maintain general ledger schedules weekly
- Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Prepare tax and title documents.
- Posting tax payments in Excel.
- Processing refund checks.
- Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Maintain a system to verify out-of-state titles.
- Compile and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.
- Sign over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full.
- Stay abreast of title regulations. Attend seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available training on title regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have EVR experience.
- Prefer 1 year automotive experience using CDK
- Must have knowledge of Excel.
- Some accounting experience necessary.
- Knowledge of how to assign titles.
- High school diploma
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience
- Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively verbally in one-on-one situations to customers, if needed, and other associates
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
