Location: Remote
Goals & Objectives Client is focused on delivering customer intimacy at scale via comprehensive financial planning. The Operational Excellence Product Manager is responsible for envisioning, documenting, and delivering simplified operational processes to support frictionless experiences for Clients, Advisor Teams, and Internal functions. The role will evaluate, strategize with stakeholders, and interface with development to create value for clients and the following internal customers: Advisor Teams (Client Service Associates & Managers), Operations, Trading, Suitability Review, Advisor Team Operations.
Job Functions Product Innovation - Develop, Own, and Execute the Operational Excellence Roadmap
- Build consensus with senior leadership regarding the strategy for the operational excellence and data quality; develops and communicates a clear operational vision; creates the account open/maintenance, product roadmap, features, and user stories at a detailed level
- Evaluate and document business process and technology solutions to complex operational excellence issues
- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand requirements
- Reduce cycle time to delivery and improves cost to value for service activities
Agile product team - Lead and support proactive adoption of agile process
- Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, scrum, demos, and retrospectives
- Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset
- Evaluate and provide feedback on agile adoption within the team and organization
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to eliminate knowledge gaps
- Mentor members of product team
- Nurture a strong user group relationships to create fast feedback loops.
Operational Excellence - Provide direction & expertise in improving operations and client channels
- Build relationships with stakeholders from Technology, Advisor Teams, Branch Operations Teams, Advisor Team Operations (ATO), Operations, Trading and Field Leadership
- Partner with Advisor Services and Operations to prioritize the needs of various departments while supporting a cohesive strategy for CSMs and Operations/ATO
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts and CSMs and develop scope and business clarity necessary to deliver on strategic outcomes
- Improve NPS for advisor teams and engagement for CSMs and internal customers. Contribute to reduction in expense on client assets by creating time and cost savings via improved technology
- Improve CSM retention
Education/Skill Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in business; finance, economics, technology or related
- 5+ years in Financial Services or equivalent experience
- 2+ years Product Management Experience
- Experience with Agile development required
- Experience with Salesforce
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Familiarity with Jira preferred
