Job Title: Estimator

Classification​: Nonexempt

Requirements & Competencies: Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines. Must be knowledgeable in Word and Excel. 

  Summary/Objective: The Estimator position provides timely estimates to customers in a fast paced work environment.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Understand what is required of the job and provide an accurate estimate based off of the customer’s takeoff and specifications. Training is provided to learn the product line.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements for a job and qualify it accordingly in the bid.
• Excellent communication skills required. There is constant contact with customers via phone and email. 
• Ability to meet strict deadlines/bid dates and to handle a fast paced work environment. 
• Customer service experience required. 
• Must be proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
