Position:
We are seeking a highly organizedProject Coordinator/Schedulerto assist in managing transmission, distribution, and substation projects. TheProject Coordinatorwill be responsible for assisting with proactive project planning with field leadership, managing the scope, scheduling, and reporting project status. In this role you will be collaborating with project managers, setting tasks, and monitoring the execution of project timelines. You may also prepare project progress reports and performance evaluation reports.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
Track work completion and provide progress reporting
Assist with project cost controls to stay within forecasted budget range
Consult with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks and subtasks.
Assist with RFIs and submittals
Confer with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, and engineers to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
Maintain an effective scheduling management system.
Monitoring Project timelines and deadlines.
Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules.
Assist with the preparations of budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
Execute corrective actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications:
High School diploma required
4-year degree preferred
Prior utility or construction experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required
Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project experience required
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office software, with an emphasis in Excel is required
Excellent written and oral communication
Must pass mandatory drug screening
