Job Description
Develops, designs, builds and tests robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Creates an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists engineers with the development and implementation of robotic systems or components.
- Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or robotic components.
- Investigate and troubleshoot defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance.
- Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new robotic installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings.
- Performs manual tasks according to established procedures.
- Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Required Experience/Skills
- Vocational/Technical Training Degree
- Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience
- 2-4 years prior experience in a similar position.
- Requires basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process.
- Oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Detail oriented, Problem-solving skills, Mathematic skills, Computer skills & Technical skills.
Nice-to-Haves
- PLC experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or other big PLC brands.
- Heat treating an added plus
Education
- Associate's Degree - Engineering Degree or equivalent training and experience

- Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000/yearly
- Shift openings: 1st (7am – 3:30pm), 2nd (3pm – 11:30pm), 3rd (11pm – 7:30am)
