Group Coordinator Lead - Inventory Control Clerk

This postition is for the Packaging Department 2nd Shift: 4 - 10 HR days: Tuesday –; Friday 3:00PM –; 1:30 AM
This role is a LEAD position for someone that is independent and self-motivated.
- Cycle performed daily of corrugated products
- Cycle counts may be performed of feedstock due to discrepancies on the production lines
- Reconcile completed production lines
- Make adjustments to inventory and corrections to lot codes/batches when needed
- Return overstock from production lines to the main warehouse
- Clear up damaged stock from the production lines
- Pull samples for customer
- Operate stand up forklift
- Use computer and multiple WMS
- Help out production lines when needed
- Assist supervisors with picking, receiving, and stock put away for the production lines when needed
- Unload corrugate trailers when needed
- Work overtime as needed
Role Purpose :
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by verifying all orders received and shipped
Assigns work schedules, trains associates in processes and monitor’s associates’ progress
Key Accountabilities :
- Perform the duties of an inventory control clerk.
- Conduct training for new associates.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
- Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required.
- Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of all defective or damaged product.
Required Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 6 months warehousing and inventory experience
- Working knowledge of SAP inventory system
