Part-Time, Rotating Shifts, Starting Pay $17.50 p/h+ Shift and Weekend Pay
The Customer Service Representative is the link between the customer and the Customer Service Center in the delivery of prompt, efficient customer focused service. Provides general administrative assistance for the Support Services department, including preparing correspondence, reports, maintaining files and conducting special projects as assigned. Demonstrates active, personal, daily involvement, visibility, open-mindedness and professionalism to Support Services and facility staff, internal and external customers, and suppliers. Performs and coordinates a variety of duties related to scheduling, dispatch, and performance of the Support Service divisions. As a team member of the Customer Service Center, in addition to the specific responsibilities outlined below, you are expected to demonstrate the vision of the Hospital. To accomplish the overall Hospital mission, you must exhibit integrity, innovation and a commitment to personal development.
Performs a wide variety of assignments and prepares various department reports.
Consistently completes all typing and data entry assignments efficiently and accurately; final work product is letter perfect and in an attractive and easy to read format.
Compose and edit material as directed; proofreads all material prior to distribution
Demonstrate proper use of English grammar, punctuation, 35WPM Typing skills.
Receives incoming calls via EPRO following AIDET in a courteous and professional manner.
Dispositions all incoming calls and requests expediently.
Responds with patience and a positive attitude to the customer’s request or inquiry without passing judgment on the need.
Effectively manages calls to meet the department goal of calls answered within 30 seconds or less.
Have knowledge of medical departments and their functions of operation. Must be able to communicate with those departments and be able to handle their requests for service.
Supports the dispatch service department.
Initiates and processes data input for support services departments, i.e., Environmental Service, Food Service, HRS Room Cleans, Linen Distribution, Facility Maintenance, Clinical Technical Services, and Central Transport requests in a timely manner.
Calls customers to ensure their expectations were met.
Processes Key Request, Books Basic Meeting Rooms, Processes Web Request.
Filing/Maintaining Records, Copying/faxing, Answering phones,
Enter data and close service requests (manually and through information technology)
Performs other duties as needed or assigned as work is expected to vary with changing needs and priorities. Management may revise duties/schedules at any time.
Consistently meets the Service Excellence standards. Meets the needs or exceeds the expectations of our patients, physicians, associates, and others we serve.
