Position Description

We are looking for an vibrant and professional individual to join our amazing family of employees for our Tennis facility. This position will perform a range of tasks including preparing tables, serving orders, explaining menus, and creating a memorable member experience. As a food server for Tennis, the ultimate goal will be to provide our members with outstanding customer service and actively help to elevate their overall dining experience. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Other responsibilities include:

• Greet and acknowledge members and guests.
• Is knowledgeable about the menu and wine list.
• Learn members' names and their special preferences.
• Knowledge of wines and spirits.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergency situations.

Job Tasks/Duties

• Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work.
• Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
• Makes sure that children are in the appropriate type of seat and are safe and secure.
• Ensure that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.
• Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, and offers suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.
• Places orders with kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary.
• Serves meals; places dishes by courses in front of each person.
• Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; replenishes water or refreshments as necessary.
• Removes soiled dishes. Clears tables after each service and resets them with appropriately.
• Keeps dining room and bus station areas clean.

Licenses and Special Requirements

• Food safety certification.
• Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Texas Alcoholic beverage certification.
• Valid Driver License or Identification Card
