The Orthopedic Center of Illinois is currently seeking a talented and motivated Accounting Manager to join our team! As the Accounting Manager, you will work closely with the CFO to plan and direct the daily operations of the accounting department. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, selecting, training, and managing the accounting team, as well as preparing monthly financial statements and developing and implementing control policies for the financial management of our company and its affiliated businesses.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage payroll process with a third-party vendor
- Develop, audit, and maintain effective cash planning processes that protect the financial integrity of OCI and its affiliated companies
- Prepare monthly cashflow statements and other financial reporting
- Oversight of all general ledger functions including accounts payable/receivable and general reporting
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Coordinate activities of external accounting firm responsible for tax planning
- Oversees the production of periodic financial reports in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
Experience, Education, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related discipline
- At least three years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Strong management and supervisory skills
- Demonstrated advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Strong communication and time management skills
