The Blended Learning Site Coordinator manages an assigned blended learning site under the guidance of the Head of School and provides services that meet students' needs while also ensuring compliance with Friendship Public Charter School Online (FPSCO) policies and procedures.

The Blended Learning Site Coordinator manages an assigned blended learning site under the guidance of the Head of School and provides services that meet students' needs while also ensuring compliance with Friendship Public Charter School Online (FPSCO) policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
- Help manage the blended learning site by providing direction, developing and implementing processes, and enforcing work site rules that create and maintain a positive classroom environment;
- Apply classroom management techniques as required; Confer with teachers, students, and parents concerning educational or behavioral issues at the blended learning site;
- Ensure that the blended learning site is meeting the needs of students while complying with FPCSO policies and procedures;
- Perform in-take function helping orient newly enrolled students to programs and services;
- Collaborate with the teacher and parents in tracking student progress, making sure to share insights gained from working with the students; Attend parent/teacher/student conferences and provide assistance as necessary to discuss academic progress, social and emotional needs and promote positive socialization;
- Improve retention of students attending the blended school site.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : - Associate degree AND
- Five years of experience working with students OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses : None required.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to make students accountable in following all school and classroom rules and policies in order to promote and facilitate a positive school environment
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities
- High degree of reliability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Ability to travel to and from site location at 1351 Nicholson Street NW Monday - Thursday
- Ability to clear required background check
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS : - Bachelor's degree
- Previous K-8 teaching experience
- Previous/current experience working at Stride/K12

- This is an office-based position. The position must work in the office Monday - Thursday. The office is located at 1351 Nicholson Street NW Washington DC 20011.The noise level in the office is usually moderate to loud (children's voices, conversations, computers, printers, foot traffic).
Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
- We anticipate this position will pay $19.00 per hour. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
