Description


The Assistant Director, Talent Acquisition, Development, and Accountability (IE/HR) is responsible for facilitating the College's planning and assessment processes and supporting the College's accreditation compliance responsibilities according to College's accrediting agency. To accomplish this, the Assistant Director supports processes to demonstrate the Institution's effectiveness as well as its compliance with the principles of accreditation. Work is performed under the general administrative direction of the Director, Talent Acquisition, Development and Accountability. Additionally, this position owns select administrative responsibilities in support of human resources. The position supports the management of the overall day-to-day institutional effectiveness functions of the TADA Office.

Examples of Duties


1.Collaborate with the Director, TADA to implement and maintain institutional effectiveness (IE) processes, such asstrategic planning, annual unit planning and assessment, program/unit review, competency assessment, andprogram learning outcomes. Serve as the backup for maintenance and training for software platform(s), asneeded.
2.Support the Director, TADA in directing and conducting accreditation reporting such as the compliance reportdevelopment, substantive change notifications, prospectus development, and focused report.
3.Collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to support the process to obtain and maintain programmaticaccreditation; including, but not limited to, ACEN.
4.Coordinate research studies with emphasis on student outcomes research to address concerns such as studentlearning, student success, student satisfaction (including administration of CCSSE and SENSE), developmentalstudent tracking, non-returning students and student persistence, and other student-related issues as requestedby departments, divisions, and administrators.
5.Coordinate the College's student course evaluation process; including, but not limited to, facilitation of thedistribution and collection process, administration of the surveys, utilization of survey equipment and software,and dissemination of results.
6.Facilitate the development, implementation, and analysis of online surveys utilizing the College's electronicsurveying software. Prepare statistics and provide regular updates to the Director, TADA.
7.Coordinate, collect, and analyze institutional and student performance data. Provide presentations to internal andexternal stakeholders as needed.
8.Stay abreast of changes in policies and procedures; maintain knowledge of current trends, events, and emergingissues; and identify information, programs, and resources useful to the Office of TADA.
9.Chair the Institutional Effectiveness Committee.
10.Serves as backup for the AD, TADA (HR/IE) for part-time recruiting efforts and monthly reporting requirements, asneeded.
11.Responds to inquiries from employees and the public regarding TADA issues and College policies and proceduresand elevate to the Manager or Director as needed.
12.Authorized to access protected health information and must follow all HIPAA requirements.
13.Receives incoming mail, email and telephone inquiries, and respond to correspondence and calls not requiring thepersonal attention of the Manager or Director.
14.Responsible for various projects on the TADA Annual Calendar, as assigned, including, but not limited to,development and maintenance of the annual IE calendar.
15.Attends assigned committee meetings and professional development training as required.
16.Collaborate with the Director in preparing TADA information and reports for monthly Board of Trustees meetings.
17.Possess knowledge of College policies, procedures, and practices and the ability to provide direction to employeesas needed.
18.Assist in College recruitment and retention efforts, as appropriate.
19.Required to attend Graduation/Commencement ceremonies.
20. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills:
• Familiar with Criteria for Accreditation with SACSCOC and/or HLC.
• Knowledge of effective planning processes and evaluation techniques and processes.
• Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal rules, regulations, procedures.
• Understanding of the role and scope of the college.
• Knowledge of descriptive statistics.
• Ability and skill in the use of personal computers in developing, printing and storing data related to the duties of the office.
• Ability and skill in analyzing information and translating it into reports that are meaningful to appropriate audiences.
• Ability and skill in planning and conducting effective meetings.
• Ability and skill in coordinating with others to carry out responsibilities.

Education and Experience:
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field, master's degree preferred.
• Three (3) years progressively responsible experience in the areas (or related areas) of duties described above, required.
• Experience in the postsecondary setting, preferred.

FLORIDA RETIREMENT SYSTEM - Full-time and regular part-time employees participate in the Florida Retirement System (FRS). The College contributes the current retirement percentage of the individual's salary, and the employee would contribute the current retirement percentage based on their salary. Employees may choose the Pension Plan or the Investment Plan.

PAID TUITION - Tuition fees for credit courses taken at the College are waived for employees and their eligible dependents, including domestic partners. Tuition and student fees are waived for non-credit physical education courses. Contingent upon approval, $1,000 reimbursement is available each fiscal year through Staff & Program Development (S&PD), for completion of course work toward a degree which results in demonstrated benefit to the College.
