THE ROLE

ProService Engineers are building next generation Human Resources software that will empower employers to succeed by being the best at HR for the markets that we serve. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end solutions for our web and mobile applications. From architecting frontend user interfaces to implementing backend services and APIs, you will leverage your expertise in both frontend and backend technologies to deliver high-quality software products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle and make a meaningful impact on our products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical requirements and architect end-to-end solutions that meet business objectives.
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Integrate frontend and backend components to deliver seamless user experiences, utilizing RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to secure access to backend resources, following industry best practices and standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in both frontend and backend development, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents in a timely manner, troubleshoot issues, and implement remediation measures to restore service.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a focus on building web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g., React.js, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with backend development using programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js, and proficiency in backend frameworks (e.g., Flask, Spring Boot, Express.js).
- Strong understanding of database design principles and experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
The base compensation for this position is $150,000 - $175,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications.
