Job description
Materials Specialist
Administrates processes and tasks to support global materials strategies and materials research & development.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
MATERIAL SOURCING AND R&D PROCESS SUPPORT
- Supports the processes related to materials strategies and research & development to design intent
- Maintains fabric, sample and inspiration libraries to support materials and wash development needs
- Responsible for data entry and maintenance of PLM including fabric palettes, wash libraries, mill libraries
- Supports communication with vendors and suppliers
- Maintains, communicates and follow-up of charts of seasonal development
- Supports creation of presentations, imaging of developed products
- Responsible for team administrative duties including travel, expenses, calendars
- Partners with agents, mills and vendors directly to ensure accuracy of fabric information
- Manage all incoming and outgoing packages including tracking
- Special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Ability to multitask, organized
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Platforms
- Ability to complete tasks with minimum direction
PREFERRED
• High level of organizational skills
