Seasonal assignment (do not work part of August and December)
Exempt from Vacation and Holiday Pay
Sick Pay earned at 1 hour per 30 hours worked
Daily overtime pay in excess of 8 hours

6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Other shifts available as needed
Under the direction of Business Services and the Transportation Department, transport passengers using district vehicles to multiple campuses and other off site locations.
Qualifications - California Class B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement or greater with ability to drive vehicles up to 26000 Lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Commercial Driver
- Clean criminal and driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Enrolled in the mandated Department of Transportation drug testing program
Job duties 1. Drive a district vehicle to the Pasadena City College, Rosemead Campus, Foothill Campus and Allen Station Goldline shuttle route.
2. Communicate with other drivers and staff using two way radios and/or cellular phones
3. Conduct safety and mechanical inspections of a variety of passenger vehicles .
4. Drive a district vehicle on various daily and overnight field trips as needed.
5. Complete accurate daily logs at the request of a supervisor.
6. Perform any tasks traditionally performed by a driver.
