Come join our dedicated and caring team of professionals as a Medical Assistant II. With guidance and direction from our staff R.N. and L.V.N., the Medical Assistant will:
Assist clinical staff at our primary care clinic in the delivery of health care to our clinic population.
Interview patients, take vital signs, room patients for providers, and record services in patients' charts.
Assist with procedures and screening tests, such as tympanometry, audiometry, UA, and pregnancy tests.
Maintain stocks of clinical supplies.
Assist in autoclaving, and with volunteer orientation.
Provide pregnancy counseling and administer nebulizer treatments.
Perform other duties as assigned within legal scope of practice.

Salary range: $21.99 - $29.05 HourlyQualifications
Required:
Documented evidence of completed Medical Assisting training (Medical Assistant Certification).
Knowledge of medical terminology, and knowledge of general medical and laboratory procedures.
Ability to take vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure and pulse), and perform tympanometry and audiometry.
Ability to perform lab-screening tests such as UA and pregnancy.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to understand and carefully transmit spoken and written instructions.
Ability to float to other facilities within Los Angeles County as needed for coverage.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and interact in a professional manner with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds.
