Retail Manager

Principle Responsibilities● Provide cheerful and helpful service to all customers
● Operate the Retail Pro POS (register) system
● Process sales, including cash & credit card transactions
● Restock inventory
● Help maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work environment
● Provide camp information and directions to guests.
● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training● 18 years of age or older
● Solid interpersonal communication abilities
● Organized and detail-oriented
● Ability to use computer and Point-of-Sale software
● Ability to accurately count cash, make change, count inventory
● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
● Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
Performance Results● Accurately count cash drawers at end of day with minimal discrepancies
● Encouraging customers to purchase shelf and counter items
● Develop new improvements to operations in department
Physical Requirements● Up to 8 hours a day of either standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
