Opus 9 Steakhouse - Immediate Line Cook Opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to cook menu items.
• Follow instructions from executive or sous chef.
• Clean and organize your station, and handle leftover food.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Ensure food is prepared and served simultaneously, in high quality, and within a timely manner.
• Adhere to nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards coworkers and customers.
• Must arrive consistently and on time for all scheduled shifts.

Skills:

• Proven cooking experience, including work as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook is preferred.
• Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Efficient and accurate execution of assigned tasks.
• Familiarity with industry's best practices.
• Culinary school diploma is a plus, though not required.
