Role:F5 Engineer

Location:Remote

Duration:12 months

Pay rate:$70-$80/hr on w2

Candidates need great F5 experience and will be working closely with application team. Need to be F5 savvy enough to hit ground running as soon as possible. Candidates should be in 5-6 year experience range. This is not an engineering role that will look at holistic picture and be required to give opinion on new advancements etc, this position will be solely receiving requests and working on specific deliveries in an automation pattern.

  1. Project Description. The customer is in the process of integrating 300 + applications from an acquisition into its infrastructure. The supplier will provide professional service resource to assist with integration of these applications using established integration patterns, until the end of the program November 30th, 2024.
  2. Description of Implementation Services and Deliverables.

2.1 Participation in Application Review Process:

The supplier will actively participate in the application review process, providing insights, recommendations, and technical expertise to ensure seamless integration of applications into the existing infrastructure.

2.2 Participation in Enterprise Protect Application Intake Process:

The supplier will engage with EP's (Enterprise Protect) application intake process, collaborating with stakeholders to assess the requirements and feasibility of integrating new applications.

2.3 Creation of Rules and Submission of NETP:

The supplier will create ServiceNow firewall requests (NETP) and submit them for approval.

2.4 Creation and Maintenance of NATs and NETP Inventory Excel Sheet:

The supplier will create and maintain an inventory excel sheet documenting network address translations (NATs) and network edge transformation policies (NETP).

2.5 Troubleshooting Client Access Issues Post-Implementation:

The supplier will provide ongoing support to troubleshoot client access issues that may arise post-implementation.

2.6 Design and Augmentation of Firewall Configuration:

The supplier will design and augment firewall configurations as required to enhance security posture and accommodate to accommodate the integration of the in scope applications..

2.7 Participation in Ad Hoc Meetings:

The supplier will participate in ad hoc meetings to address various topics such as process clarification, architecture discussions, and escalations.

2.8 Firewall Design for SDWAN:

The supplier will design firewall configurations specifically tailored to support the integration between firms via TD's SDWAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) initiative.

3. Acceptance Criteria:

All integrated applications must successfully pass testing and validation procedures before being deployed into production.
