Sanctuary Hospice is growing and excited to be opening a new location in Akron! Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to patients in need? Sanctuary Hospice is currently seeking a Full-Time Compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our dedicated team that will provide patient care in and around the Akron Area!
This position is a dual role and will also be working in our hospice office assisting with various front office duties and scheduling.
As a Hospice STNA with Sanctuary Hospice, you will play a vital role in the lives of our patients, working under the guidance of a registered nurse to provide essential services and ensure their comfort and well-being. Your observant and caring nature will be instrumental in maintaining the quality, continuity, and safety of our patients' care.

- Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
- Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments contributes significantly to their overall comfort and dignity.
- Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction. Your dedication to providing outstanding care will be valued and celebrated as part of our team.

- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Every detail is crucial in delivering high-quality care, both in the patient's home and within our agency and regulatory standards. Your attention to detail is vital to our success.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Must be a graduate of a State-approved STNA program and hold current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a STNA in an acute care or LTC setting preferred. Hospice exp a plus!
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
