Summary of Responsibilities

The Superintendent is responsible for on-site project management which includes supervising subcontractors, coordinating with clients, ensuring safety practices are followed and the project schedule is on target. The Superintendent will report to the Production Manager.

Essential Functions

• Maintains daily job log and rolling punch list
• Coordinates material deliveries
• Supervises carpenters and subcontractors
• Ensures safety standards are followed
• Reviews project plans and specifications
• Monitors project progress with adherence to the plans, schedule and budget
• Participates in project inspections
• Interfaces with clients
• Provides Quality Control
• Reviews timesheets for accuracy
• Conducts safety toolbox talks
• Mentors and trains field staff on best practices, safety standards and Redstart Contruction procedures.
• Ensures project site is protected and secure at end of day.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• Possess rough and finish carpentry skills
• Ability to receive and execute directions
• Operate various power tools related to carpentry
• Extensive knowledge of contruction methods and techniques for various trades
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
• Excellent organization skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to move materials and equipment weighing in excess of 50lbs.

Compensation

• 60,000 – 90,000 annually
• 401k – Up to 4% match
• PTO – 2 weeks after 1 year
• FSA – Qserha - $300/per month
