Job description
BCT has partnered with a large, national legal firm to identify a Data Analyst with experience manipulating data in the medical, legal, insurance, or claims administration industries. The position is 4 days a week on-site and can live in any of the following cities: Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Indianapolis, Washington DC, Morristown, NJ, or Philadelphia.
SALARY OFFERED: Range of $85K-$120K depending on candidate's experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with partners to understand data requirements and deliver precise and timely information
- Manage and maintain database and user platforms specific to mass tort litigation and settlements
- Assist internal teams with general data operations, including imports, transfers, and exports
- Assist in standardizing data operation processes and documenting processes for internal teams, and drive back-end system improvements
- Compile, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure consistent and reliable data and information integrity
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Generate comprehensive reports and build visualizations/dashboards providing insights relevant to mass tort resolutions
- Assist partners in development of data models to support settlement negotiations and legal resolution strategies
- Ensure compliance with legal data management standards and practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Expert Excel skills required
- Strong technical skills in data management, and experience working with SQL data sources
- Experience in data modeling, analysis, and projection.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, clean, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven legal environment
- Exposure to Python, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc., is a plus
- Experience with medical, legal, or insurance data and/or industries is desirable but not required
