Job description
Innovative Learning Group is looking for individuals to serve as information architects and designers of intranet portals, websites, and digital applications in a freelance capacity on project-based client work.
Primary responsibilities may include:
Inventorying and auditing existing content and functionality
Conducting user focus groups and usability studies
Defining the information architecture for the portal, site, or application
Designing the end product’s user interface
Creating page templates that can be used for development
Writing page content and defining graphic specs
The successful candidate will have many or all of the following qualifications:
Minimum two years of experience in business-focused website design
Demonstrated experience in creation of complex information architectures
Understanding of the principles of workplace performance support
Understanding of adaptive and responsive design principles for mobile-delivered content
Familiarity with common delivery platforms such as HTML and SharePoint
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
Bachelor’s degree in information science or similar field
