Summary

The Proposal Content Manager will seek out and respond to various types of proposals and bids providing analysis, support, copy writing/editing and processing for applicable sales teams located in various regional markets throughout the US. Documents may include request for proposal (RFP), request for information (RFI), and Vendor Questionnaires. The Proposal Manager must interpret the RFP document requirements and compile a persuasive and compelling response that meets the needs of the RFP and addresses all questions and topics. In addition to responding to RFPs, the Proposal Manager will be responsible for uncovering new RFPs as well as tracking and reporting on proposal success rates and gathering feedback. This role will work closely with the marketing content writer and support additional copy needs for Addison brands external channels (website).

 

Responsibilities

· Develop strategic goals for proactive approach to seeking out RFPs

· Attend pre-proposal meetings and/or conference calls as needed

· Manage correspondence/submittals throughout RFP process

· Coordinate proposal responses in formal process with sales teams/management

· Write and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, branding, quality of writing, and focus

· Continuously update RFP files & content repository with current information

· Prepare complex proposal outlines

· Work with partner organizations to define proposal process across brands (and when cross-selling opportunities arise)

· Produce and edit high-quality proposals within required timeframes

· Create, revise, and maintain departmental materials such as RFP database content, correspondence, reports, records and forms from rough draft through the final copy

· Work with sales teams, managers, and executives to manage the MSA process and ensure that new contracts are reviewed and vetted

· Assist with external copy updates as part of the marketing team to align messaging & ensure cohesiveness with web copy and RFP response submissions
