Job description
The Director of Sales at FormWood Industries will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and strategically positioning the company in the market. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage sales personnel, cultivate customer relationships, and collaborate with the marketing team to execute innovative campaigns.
Sales Leadership :
- Lead, manage, and guide the sales team to achieve corporate sales and profit goals while adhering to the company's values.
- Develop long-term relationships with major clients seeking FormWood Industries' value propositions.
- Recruit, mentor, and drive the sales team to meet collective and individual objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
- Direct Customer Service to ensure high customer satisfaction and internal efficiencies.
- Contribute significantly to the Leadership Team.
Marketing Strategy :
- Collaborate on innovative marketing campaigns with the marketing team.
- Use market research for trend identification and effective campaign execution.
- Develop and maintain a strong brand presence through digital and traditional
marketing channels.
Product Knowledge and Positioning :
- Possess deep expertise in our specialty veneer and plywood products and their applications.
- Work closely with product development for enhancements and new product introductions.
- Position our products as leading solutions through effective marketing messaging.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure exceptional service.
- Proactively address customer feedback to improve the overall experience.
Experience :
- Candidates require 6 to 12 years of successful direct sales experience in B2B specialty industrial products to major accounts.
- At least 3 recent years should involve successful management of OEM sales personnel.
- Experience in small to medium-sized industrial product companies.
- Valuable experience includes branch office start-ups, new product introductions, engagement with senior-level executives, market segment assessments, pricing strategies, cross-functional team collaboration, etc.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is strongly favored.
