Location: Wethersfield CT(Hybrid 2 day Min office)

Pay Rate : 45-55$/Hour on W2(DOE)

Minimum Exp Required= 5Years

Key Skills: .NET, C#, and SQL., Minframe

- The role entails providing support for applications.
- The candidate will be involved in an upcoming initiative to replatform the mainframe-based licensing system.
- The candidate must have proficiency in mainframe platform skills including CICS, batch analysis, and SOAP web services.
- The role requires skills in .NET development and web services, with a focus on developing Restful web services.
- The candidate will assist in the transition of a legacy mainframe application from CICS, COBOL, VSam to a .NET framework, C#, SQL environment.
- The ideal candidate must be proficient in .NET, C#, and SQL.
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of CICS, COBOL, VSam to support the legacy system transition.
- The candidate should have strong skills in developing RESTful APIs to support data exchange between various systems.
- The scope of work includes assisting with major projects, cross-training in generating web services, providing day-to-day support, and assisting in re-platforming mainframe applications to a new platform.
