Location : Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Director of Family Engagement
Work Hours/Days : School days (normally 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.) and staff work days during the school year, with remote project-based work during summer and breaks.
Desired Start Date : Immediately
Salary Range: $35,000-$45,000 annually

We seek a Registrar to assist with all enrollment and SIS management duties, which includes entering and maintaining accurate student and academic records, providing technical reports, training of other staff, and problem solving. The Registrar also assists administrators and coordinates all activities associated with the registration of students in classes and building the master schedule.
Located in Brighton, CO, just 3 miles from I-25, Ascent Classical of Northern Denver (ACAND) is a growing school of over 200 students that currently offers grades K-7 with plans to expand to K-12 by adding one grade per year.

Essential Functions:
- Maintaining student information in the Student Information System (PowerSchool)
- Maintain accurate student records
- Submit compliance data to the state authorizer (Colorado Charter School Institute)
- Manage systems integrated with PowerSchool
- Support front office staff as needed
- Run student reports, including attendance, discipline and academic reports
- Store grades and manage transcripts
- Support teachers in PowerTeacher Pro
- Coordinate course scheduling
- Prepare and distribute class rosters, schedules, and other relevant documents to faculty, students, and parents
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to maintain accurate academic records, including grades, attendance, test scores and transcripts
- Process requests for student transcripts, ensuring compliance with school policies and regulations
- Perform related duties as directed
Requirements:
- Commitment to the mission and vision of Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver
- Commitment to high moral character necessary to sustain ordered liberty and constitutional self-government
- Prior Student Information System experience strongly preferred, with knowledge of PowerSchool ideal
- Knowledge of school operations and the annual SIS and state reporting cycles preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively articulate information and issues
- Superior organization, communication, and computer skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to develop positive and professional relationships with team members
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and always maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Willingness to support the front office/attendance team as needed
- Eligibility to work in the United States

Ascent Classical Academy Charter Schools, Inc. (ACACS) is a network of public charter schools in Colorado comprised of four campuses. The governing Board of Directors at ACACS has contracted with Minga Education Group (MEG) to provide employment services for all staff at ACACS. Through this partnership, MEG provides employment services, a personnel system for human resources, benefits, payroll services, and access to a 401(k) plan. For naming purposes, Minga Education Group is the employer.
