Job description
Waferwire is seeking a Product Designer to join our team. We focus on developing B2B enterprise products in the services sector. We are currently seeking a Designer located in the Redmond time zone to contribute to our modern deal management tool project. This project holds significant visibility and importance, impacting millions of users and customers worldwide. You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a modern deal management tool tailored to meet the needs of users across multiple countries. This opportunity offers a chance to work on a high-impact project with complex interactions, providing valuable experience and exposure in the field.
Role: Product Designer
Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid)
Job Description:
- Attending requirement meetings with the PMs and asking questions to understand the needs.
- Planning, estimating, and kicking off the design work in collaboration with the researchers and engineers in the team.
- Using Figma and design thinking to create a modern deal management tool for the B2B enterprise product in the area of services.
- Presenting the design ideas and iterations to the stakeholders and getting feedback.
- Working with the hiring manager for reviews and guidance.
- Communicating and influencing the PM lead and other partners on the design approach and solutions.
- Raising risks and issues at the right time and seeking help when needed.
- You would work 40 hours a week in the Redmond time zone, with the option to work from home or come to the office as needed.
- You would be reporting to the hiring manager and work with four to five PMs on the priority project.
- You would have the opportunity to work on a high visibility and high importance project that impacts millions of users and customers across the world.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
- Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
- Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Top 3 Skills:
- Minimum 5-7 years experience with interaction design.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience with Figma.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience with Design stakeholder management.
