Job description
Join our team as a Charity Fundraising Assistant, and be a part of making a positive impact in the community. We partner with charitable organizations to increase awareness of their programs. This role will be the first point of contact for the Fundraising and Marketing & Communications teams, focusing on processing donations, maintaining the database, and delivering high levels of customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all external and internal fundraising inquiries.
- Provide high-standard customer care, including thanking and acknowledging new/departing donors.
- Collaborate with management and the communications team to prepare and send accurate and engaging donor communications.
- Support fundraising and promotional events – including planning, logistics, and on-the-day support.
- Ensure the upkeep of the donor database, providing internal training and support to colleagues.
- Administer data inputting, amendments, running reports, and creating data queries.
- Support the fundraising team to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Stay updated with fundraising initiatives and news from across all sectors.
- Introduce new ideas and initiatives into the role, taking ownership of work.
