Job Description:

The Electrical engineer will function as an electrical designer of space-borne scientific instrumentation and associated equipment/hardware driving electronic design solutions and ensuring the entire flight instrument electrical design, reliability, performance, and compliance with industry standards for externally funded projects at the William. B. Hanson Center for Space Sciences at UT Dallas.

The Electrical Engineer will be an integral member of a team of engineers and scientists collaborating in the development, production, delivery and operation of space-borne scientific instruments for a new, multi-year NASA project.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Three (3) years of experience to include designing electronic circuits, selecting components, and creating schematics using ECAD tools.
One (1) year of experience using Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar software platforms.
One (1) year of experience with simulation tools to model and analyze circuit behavior before physical implementation.
