TITLE: Hospital Medical Transcriptionist Sr START DATE: ASAP END DATE/CONTRACT LENGTH: 13 Weeks LOCATION: 101 The City Dr S, Orange, CA 92868 SHIFT: 10:00-6:30, Mon-Friday **This is an AFSCME covered position with a minimum pay rate of XX42.27** Responsible for transcribing dictated pathology reports including surgical pathology, hematoplathology, neuropathology, cytology, dermatopathology, autopsy and other complex reports in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services. Provides backup administrative support to the department, including phone coverage, record management , filing and distribution of materials, etc. Required Qualifications: Advanced written and oral communication skills, including English usage, grammar, punctuation and style. Two years training/experience in medical transcription. Ability to work independently and under pressure with time constraints.
