Job description
Kforces client is looking for a Senior Director of IT in Fremont, CA. The Senior Director of IT will oversee multiple departments, and should have a background in business strategy, plaining, and influencing decisions. They will lead the delivery of services common to all IT functional groups, and will gather stakeholder inputs and prepare analysis of gaps in capabilities, funding, skills, or technology. Suggest various options or models to address deficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Drive process excellence; Build operating mechanisms that promote process rigor for key IT capabilities that include IT Service Management, Project and Program Management, IT Business Operations and overall IT Governance
- Measure operational baselines and establish a consolidated IT Scorecard; Institute required disciplines and data gathering to enable monthly executive scorecard review
- Drive the creation of revised structures that better serve customers while facilitating execution excellence; Consider the separation or combination of functions that enable focus or produce synergies
- Create and drive transformation plans for global IT strategy, talent pipeline, and technology roadmaps; Provide perspective on the readiness of the organization to change and innovate; Participate in OCM activities to enable the best outcomes
- Build relationships inside and outside the IT function that enable deep understanding of process interactions
