Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end development and delivery of custom software applications within their organization.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including task breakdowns, timelines and resource allocation
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth workflow throughout the software development life cycle
Form and lead a talented team of developers, designers and testers
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements
Translate business needs into actionable project tasks and specifications
Supervise the software development process, ensuring adherence to coding standards and project guidelines
Monitor progress and address any roadblocks to keep the project on track
Implement and oversee rigorous testing processes to ensure the software meets high-quality standards
Collaborate with the testing team to identify and resolve any issues promptly
Regularly communicate project status, milestones and potential risks to stakeholders
Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions
Proactively address challenges to ensure timely and successful project delivery
Oversee the deployment process, ensuring a smooth transition of the software into the organizational environment
Maintain thorough and organized documentation throughout the project life cycle
Document decisions, changes and key project information for future reference
Project Manager Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in project management, specifically in-house software delivery projects
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and project management methodologies
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
Proficient in project management tools and software
