Job description
Responsibilities
Oversees the quality of care delivered to his / her patients. Assesses clinical appropriateness for admission. Performs psychiatric assessments, implements therapeutic care and directs the treatment team in continuing care efforts. Completes necessary documentation to ensure accurate reimbursement for services provided and if applicable, necessary to address patients hospitalized under civil commitment statutes. Provides psychiatric consultation when requested. Complies with all Medical Staff Bylaws, Medical Staff Rules and Regulations, and facility policies.
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent degree, completed residency in psychiatry, board certification preferred.
Licensed as an MD in the state of Florida
