Accountabilities
Streamline work processes, decrease turnaround times, and enhance efficiency in the use of utility resources
Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining open communication with internal and external stakeholders
Execute routine and emergency operational, maintenance, construction, and repair functions in the water production & distribution division
Install, maintain, replace, and repair water mains, connections, hydrants, valves, and related infrastructure
Operate and maintain water distribution infrastructure, ensuring accurate records and addressing mechanical or process deficiencies
Adhere to industry and utility safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Operate equipment used in treatment and distribution systems, maintaining landscape integrity and completing work orders
Conduct daily inspections of well sites, interpret readings, and communicate findings to the supervisor
Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
Education and Experience
ADEQ Grade I Operator License for Water Distribution or Water Treatment in Arizona locations
Specialized knowledge of wells, pumps, motors, and chlorine generators
Valid driver's license
Ability to read maps, manuals, work orders, and blueprints, with proficiency in general math calculations
Strong communication skills for writing work orders, memos, letters, and reports
Timely completion of repairs and tasks with a high degree of analytical judgment and decision-making abilities
