This role processes and enters customer and vendor related transactions for Schneider Geospatial, and is a member of the Accounting team that values excellence through delivering high-quality service to our internal business, customers, and vendors. This position reports to the Controller. 

Essential Position Duties:  

• Responsible for entering transactions that may include payables, receivables, collections, and journal entries
• Vendor invoice vouchering, applying credit memos, and generating payment runs
• Apply customer payments to invoices
• Communicate with customers regarding unpaid invoices
• Timely identify, research and resolve issues or discrepancies
• Contract management and data entry to prepare for invoicing customers
• Maintain and update customer billing addresses and vendor remittance addresses/Federal ID numbers
• Assist in generating reports for preparing tax filings (Form 1099s) and audit information
• Special projects involving analysis of information and presenting findings in a concise manner
• Administrative filing and general recordkeeping
• Maintain documented procedures
• Comply with the company’s accounting policies and internal controls
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Education / Experience: 

Experience in accounting, preferably in a SaaS and professional services industry or with similar billing methods preferred. 

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, or equivalent work experience preferred.
