Nebraska Community Blood Bank ( NCBB.ORG ), a division of Innovative Blood Resources (), has been saving and sustaining lives since 1968. We are dedicated to connecting people who need life-saving blood with generous volunteers who give. Operating 4 donor centers and conducting dozens of blood drives each month, we are proud to be an independent nonprofit that supplies over 20 area hospitals and clinics with life-saving blood—from our community, for our community.
Summary:
This person coordinates the overall maintenance and operational functionality of the sites, collections equipment and vehicles owned or leased by IBR in the Nebraska region. Serves as site contact for all sub-contracted maintenance and repair services. Responsible for periodic assessments and inspections of IBR donor sites to ensure contracted services are sufficient for effective operations. Ensures implementation of standards set for safety, security, general maintenance and compliance.
Routine collaboration with Facilities/Materials Management staff in St. Paul and Kansas.
Schedule: Monday - Friday typical hours would be 8am - 4:30pm

Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred - 2-year degree from a vocational school for mechanics.
Experience:
2 years of related experience in vehicle and facility maintenance.
Other:
Valid Driver’s License.
Able to lift up to 25lbs.
Preferred - ASE Certification.
Preferred - Commercial driver’s license (CDL- Class B with airbrakes or Class A).
