TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time intensivist to join our critical care team at Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina close to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Conway Medical Center is a 222-bed, full service hospital with a 32 bed medical/surgical ICU. Enjoy a flexible block schedule working day shifts with APC support. Employed position with health benefits and retirement options.
Responsibilities for this position include rounding, admitting and discharging of ICU patients. You will also provide night call backing up the APC. The average patient census per day is 18-20 encounters split between the intensivist and APC. As the county seat of Horry County, South Carolina, Conway is part of the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area and home of Coastal Carolina University. Numerous buildings and structures in Conway are on the National Register of Historic Places, including the City Hall building, reputedly designed by Robert Mills, architect of the Washington Monument.
