Job description
JOB STATEMENT:
Performs a variety of complex professional accounting/administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Entering financial transactions into internal databases.
- Check spreadsheets for accuracy.
- Maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Create vendor accounts
- Accounts payable entering bills in our system
- Accounts receivable entering payments received from customers in our system
- Ensuring receipt of all invoices, entering system before payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, money on the way, bank reconciliation daily.
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
- Provide permitting department and general contractors with required documents for permits/submittals on national accounts.
- Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Three to five previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills required, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, QuickBooks
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing, on the telephone and in person.
- Must be able to work with others.
